DESCRIPTION: Aves Argentinas has its own natural reserve in the heart of the Misiones rainforest. The Reserve is a unique place that seeks to be a bridge to nature within a framework of extraordinary biodiversity and with a strategic location for the conservation of the Atlantic Forest. It is located on the Andresito Peninsula, province of Misiones, 70 km from the Iguazu Falls. It consists of 183 hectares of well-preserved rainforest where we can find a great diversity of species.

Disclaimer: Please note that if your research project requires it, you must also submit the approved documentation for the research permits issued by the Misiones Institute of Biodiversity and/or the National Parks Administration, as applicable (both are valid for 1 year). People staying and/or working at the station will be required to have personal accident insurance or an ART certificate (for CONICET staff or other state employees).
