Integral Conservation Course
The objective of the course is to train people in the world of conservation to lead and strengthen multidisciplinary conservation projects in different geographical and social contexts, with a vision of the management and restoration of species and ecosystems based on solid scientific knowledge.
The profile of the students will be that of people who seek to acquire a comprehensive vision of the planning, implementation, and development of conservation projects.
The training that people who enroll in the course need to have is varied. Biologists, environmental science graduates, veterinarians, park rangers, and naturalists have successfully completed the course, with an interest in developing applied conservation projects, which excludes people with purely academic conservation interests.
The course lasts approximately two months. It has a theoretical module and a practical module. The practical base seeks to generate on-the-ground knowledge of resource management, techniques, and the ability to solve real-life problems, based on the direct conservation actions that the Hooded Grebe Foundation develops.
